No matter how many people you are, BigFiveGolfTours.com will proudly present you with a great destination and accommodation proposal. There are two very exclusive cottages on our property (each sleeping two people). Should your party, however, consist of more than four, we will organize, literally within walking distance, other cottages of an equally high standard for the remainder of your party. As these have been scrutinized by ourselves, we have no hesitation in recommending them and we are confident that they too only wish to offer the best of service to our guests.

Our cottages are self-catering. They are stylishly decorated in an African theme, which flows throughout. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with mini-stove, full fridge and all the crockery, cutlery and other implements necessary to make your stay an easy and pleasant experience. The lounge area is comfortably furnished and for those who wish to be "couch potatoes" there is a T.V with access to the major channels.

The double bedroom contains a queen size bed and adequate built-in cupboards and wardrobes. Each bedroom has a bedside clock/radio and a hairdryer is provided. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower. The cottages are fully serviced and tea and coffee is provided for that first cup of the day. There is a small verandah at the front of each cottage with a bench table and chairs, looking on to a pretty, private garden and small Jacuzzi/pool. Guests are free to use the pool whenever they wish and can even savour the water on cool nights as it is heated, an additional luxury. Pool towels and poolside lounging chairs are provided for the comfort of our guests.

There is even a cosy, private bar, which opens on to the pool where guests can enjoy a sundowner or two, or an ice cold beer at the end of a busy day. Access to the cottages is gained via a private path and there is a reserved parking area for cars.

For those who require it, a continental breakfast can be provided in the cottages on request at an additional charge. A folder including general information such as local eating places is available in each cottage. BigFiveGolfTours.com is situated a mere 45 minutes from our famous Table Mountain, Cape Town Waterfront, and other major attractions. Just 10 minutes from Stellenbosch and most wine farms, and anywhere between 15 minutes to 1 hour from more than 12 magnificent golf courses.

For those who do not wish to play golf, various activities such as hiking, walking, "riding the cobra" (Cape Town's equivalent of the Big Dipper) are only a few minutes away. Of course, we mustn't forget that our coastline has some of the best beaches the world has to offer, one of which lies literally ten minutes from Somerset West. For the ladies, Cape Town offers beauty spas and shopping malls which equal those of Europe's major centres. Our own Somerset West Mall will offer you an ideal opportunity to spend endless hours wandering from shop to shop.For the movie buffs visit the Imax theatre at Cape Town's Waterfront which shows larger than life attractions.

Or better still stroll round the aquarium housed at the Waterfront and see our waters indigenous sea life and even a great white or two. We mustn't forget that our theatres and open air amphitheatres show some wonderful local productions, be it musicals, drama or ballet, for those who wish to be a little " cultural'' whilst visiting our shores.

For the health conscious, a first class Hydro/Spa can be found tucked away deep in the Stellenbosch mountain slope. This is the place to go for a little battery charging and sheer luxurious pampering for the mind and body. Here you can be treated to anything from mud bathing, water bath treatments, sauna, full body massaging, and just sheer relaxation. Even if you play golf, you have to admit that this could possibly be one of the best ways to recharge your batteries and get rid of all your frustrations, be at the beginning of your holiday, or sadly at the end. For the more adventurous, you can choose from paragliding, bungi jumping, abseiling or if your adrenalin really needs a kick start, how about a shark cage dive.
